Participants had discussions on vaccination at four main levels in the Human Rights Workshop titled Vaccines from a Human Rights Viewpoint in the Advanced Course on International Promotion and Protection of Human Rights II. The first group discussed the right of the vaccine debate. The second group argued over whether the vaccine should be mandatory or voluntary. The third group examined in detail the human rights that can be violated by compulsory vaccination. The fourth group dealt with the issue of which rights could be violated by the measures to be taken to encourage voluntary vaccination.
After the group discussions, in the second part of the workshop, all participants came together and shared their findings with each other. The issue of Vaccines from a Human Rights Viewpoint was discussed in the workshop from the participants' perspectives.
